Main idea
The main idea in following Phineas is they are following Phineas to make sure he's fine and healthy. Also they want to find out if he is okay. In this chapter they find out new things about the human brain. They found more about sicknesses and partials in the body. This is what the main idea about this chapter.

I think the author wrote this chapter because he wanted to tell us where Phineas was and how he is. The reason the doctors followed him because they wanted to see if he would die or see if he would get sick or anything. Another reason I think they followed Phineas is because they wanted to also see if Phineas would die they would get his skull from inside and remember how Phineas was important and how they can make his story and him important.

I think the author wrote this chapter because he wanted to tell us where Phineas was and how he is. The unquiet grave of Phineas Gage was disturbed once in 1867 by Dr. Harlow. Then it was disturbed again in 1940 by the rapidly growing city.
Paul Broca found an area on the lower left frontal lobe that controlled the ability to speak, in 1862. Soon after, Carl Wernicke found another area on the left temporal lobe. This lobe controlled the ability to understand speach.
In death, Phineas’s skull revealed the unmistakable signs of his terrible accident. Today, Phineas’s skull is exhibited at Harvard Medical School.”
