As you read create a list of Buck's stops on his journey. You will use this list to create a map of the west coast, from the Yukon Territory to San Diego to mark places along that map mentioned in the novel and see how far Buck travels on his journey.

2.) San Francisco - Manuel sells Buck for $150.00 and Buck is put on a train
3.) Seattle, WA - Buck gets off the train and is given to a man in a red sweater

5.) Pass through Chicool Divide and camp at Lake Bennett on their journey North, headed to Dyea Beach, AK
6.) The team goes through hudalinkwa then 35 miles to little salmon then another 35 miles to big salmon then 40 miles to littles fingers
